Happy President's Day!  This week was a fun week for crafts.  After discussing who Abraham Lincoln was, we made a really cute Lincoln mask. This was a great craft to do while discussing shapes as well.  The children had a wonderful time learning about the value of pennies, nickles and dimes.  I was able to get several  pictures this week. Valentine's Day

We had an awesome time at our Valentine's party. Thank you so much to the volunteers that came in and helped out.  We love when we can have our parent's come in and visit us.  The children had a blast passing out their own Valentine's. We lined two tables up with our Valentine's boxes and asked the children to put a card or treat in each box. This took some patience and good listening skills on their part. Community Helpers

Community Helpers

This week we talked about many people who help us around our community. We had some pretty fun centers set up around our room. We had a post office set up with envelopes, stickers, stamps and post cards. There was a construction site set up in the sensory table with rocks and trucks.  A big thank you to Officer Shultz for letting us view the inside of a police car! He came to speak in Ms. Tracy's class and was kind enough to let our class join in!
